There are 5 wards in the Department of Tumor Chemotherapy with 220 beds and more than 80 nurses with reasonable personnel structure and education level, which meets the requirements of tertiary hospitals. We mainly undertake preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy, postoperative consolidation chemotherapy and biological treatment for cancer patients. Under the leadership of the Nursing Department, all the nurses insist on patient-oriented, apply the overall nursing model to the clinical work, provide patients with holistic care and have received favorable comments from patients and their families. At the same time, we work hard to develop the nursing work, actively carry out scientific research activities, expand new technologies and methods and have accumulated a lot of clinical nursing experience in aspects of chrono-chemotherapy, use of micro pump, bio-targeted therapy, deep vein catheterization nursing , drug exudation, and prevention of oral mucositis.
